Tama Metalworks BST1455BK 14" x 5,5" Black Steel Snare

The Tama BST1455BK is a Black Nickel plated snare drum from Tama's Black Brass snare drum series. It has a 14" x 5.5" size and is constructed with a 1.2mm thick brass shell.

The snare drum features Tama's Sound Arc Hoops which are designed to enhance the natural resonance of the drum and provide a focused sound. It also comes with Tama's Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snappy Snare wires which are known for their responsiveness and sensitivity.

The drum also includes Tama's Linear-Drive strainer which allows for quick and easy snare adjustments, and the detachable butt plate allows for easy replacement of snare wires.

This steel snare drum offers a bright tone with a tight crispness in high tuning and a smooth resonance in low tuning. A 1.2mm matte black steel shell is processed to have a ridge on the centre of the shell as reinforcement. The colour of the shell hardware is matched the matte black shell.
