The Remo Powerstroke P3 Clear 12" Tom Drum Head (P3-0312-BP) features a 1-ply 10-mil clear film with a 3-mil inlay ring for toms and snares and a 10-mil inlay ring for bass drumheads. It has an underlay at the outer edge of the head to dampen unwanted overtone creating a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that quickly made it popular among drummers

Remo Powerstroke P3 Clear Drum Heads are constructed from a ply of 10-mil Mylar film and a 3-mil underlay at the outer edge that dampens high-pitched, annoying overtones. This helps to create a great balance between a response and a clear tone.
