Gibraltar SC-LG 6mm Large Swivel Nuts 12/Pack

✅ PERFECT FOR — Drummers replacing stripped or worn swivel nut inserts in their bass drum lugs. The Gibraltar SC-LG is the large 6mm swivel nut designed specifically for bass drum lug casings, restoring full tuning control to your kick drum when tension rods can no longer be tightened properly.

Why Choose the Gibraltar SC-LG 6mm Large Swivel Nut Inserts?

• 🥁 Designed for Bass Drum Lug Casings — The SC-LG is the larger 6mm swivel nut sized specifically for bass drum lugs, which use a larger thread diameter than tom and snare lugs. Using the correct size ensures proper thread engagement and reliable tuning stability across your kick drum head.
• 🔧 Fix for Stripped Tension Rods — When a bass drum tension rod spins freely without tightening, the swivel nut inside the lug casing is almost always the stripped component. Replacing it with the SC-LG restores proper thread engagement without needing to replace the entire lug assembly.
• 🔄 Swivel Design for Even Hoop Tension — The swivel mechanism allows each nut to self-align as the tension rod is tightened, helping the bass drum hoop seat evenly and reducing the risk of uneven tension or hoop warping during tuning.
• 💪 Metal Construction for Long-Lasting Thread Integrity — Built from metal to provide durable, reliable thread engagement that resists stripping through repeated tuning cycles, far outlasting the original worn-out nuts.
• 📦 12-Pack for Full Bass Drum Coverage — Comes as a pack of 12, giving you enough swivel nuts to replace all the lugs on a standard bass drum in one purchase, with spares to keep on hand for future use.
