Gibraltar SC-BDKR/S 4-3/16" 106mm Bass Drum Key Tension Rod 4-Pack

✅ PERFECT FOR — Drummers replacing stripped, worn, or missing key tension rods on standard 22" bass drums. The Gibraltar SC-BDKR/S are 4-3/16" (106mm) bass drum key rods with M5 x 0.8mm thread pitch and 7/32"-24 TPI specification, sized specifically for most standard 22" bass drums — comes as a 4-pack with washers.

Why Choose the Gibraltar SC-BDKR/S Bass Drum Key Tension Rod 4-Pack?

• 🥁 Sized Specifically for Standard 22" Bass Drums — At 4-3/16" (106mm) in length, the SC-BDKR/S key rods are engineered for the deeper lug casings of standard 22" bass drums — providing full thread engagement for secure, stable head tensioning that shorter tension rods designed for toms cannot deliver on a bass drum.
• 🔧 M5 x 0.8mm Thread Pitch for Precise, Smooth Tuning — The M5 x 0.8mm metric thread pitch provides fine, smooth adjustment resolution for bass drum head tuning, allowing precise tension setting across each lug without the coarse steps of coarser thread pitches.
• 💪 Replaces Stripped or Worn Bass Drum Tension Rods — Stripped bass drum tension rod threads cause lugs that won't hold tuning or engage with resistance — a common problem on older or heavily used bass drums. Replacing damaged rods with the SC-BDKR/S restores smooth, full-range tuning function at each lug position.
• 📦 4-Pack — Covers a Section of the Bass Drum — Four key rods per pack lets you replace a full section of damaged rods on one side of the bass drum, or selectively replace individual worn rods across the full hoop with spares on hand.
• 💰 A Cost-Effective Repair vs. Full Lug Replacement — Replacing stripped bass drum key rods is one of the most economical bass drum repairs available — restoring full tuning function without the cost or effort of lug casing replacement or drum shell work.
