Why Choose the Gibraltar SC-1408BS & SC-1408SS 14" Snare Drum Steel Hoop Set?

• 🥁 Complete Set — Batter Side & Snare Side Included — The SC-1408BS (batter side / top hoop) and SC-1408SS (snare side / bottom hoop) are included together, so you can replace both hoops on your 14" snare drum in a single purchase without needing to source each side separately.
• 💪 2.3mm Heavy-Duty Chrome Steel Construction — The 2.3mm thick steel hoops provide the rigidity and mass needed for consistent tension distribution and durable rim shot capability, maintaining their circular shape and resisting deformation under heavy playing over time.
• 🎯 Triple-Flanged Design for Consistent Tension & Tone — The triple-flanged hoop profile provides consistent shape retention around the full circumference of the drumhead, ensuring even tension distribution at each lug point — critical for achieving a clean, centred snare tone and reliable tuning stability.
• 🔊 Clear, Focused Snare Sound — Steel triple-flanged hoops produce a bright, defined rim shot tone and contribute to a clear, focused snare crack — suitable for rock, pop, jazz, and most live performance and studio applications.
• 📏 14" Diameter, 8-Lug — Fits Most Standard Snare Drums — Sized for standard 14" snare drums with 8 tension rods, fitting the most common snare drum configuration across all major drum brands.
