Gibraltar SC-12 Nylon Tension Rod Washers 12 Pack
β PERFECT FOR β Drummers replacing missing or worn tension rod washers and wanting a nylon option for vibration dampening and hoop protection. The Gibraltar SC-12 Nylon Tension Rod Washers fit most standard tension rods and come in a 12-pack β a cost-effective essential for drum maintenance and tuning stability.
Why Choose the Gibraltar SC-12 Nylon Tension Rod Washers 12-Pack?
- π₯ Nylon Construction Cushions Vibration at the Tension Rod β Unlike metal washers, nylon absorbs and dampens the micro-vibrations transmitted through the tension rod during playing, reducing the tendency for rods to gradually work themselves loose under sustained drumhead vibration β contributing to better long-term tuning stability.
- π§ Fits Most Standard Tension Rods Across Major Drum Brands β Sized to fit the standard tension rod head diameter used on most drum brands and models, the SC-12 is a universally compatible replacement washer for snare drums, toms, and bass drums across virtually any kit.
- π‘οΈ Protects Drum Hoops from Metal-to-Metal Contact β Nylon washers act as a buffer between the metal tension rod head and the drum hoop surface, preventing the scratching, marring, and accelerated wear that direct metal-to-metal contact causes over time β helping to preserve the finish and integrity of your drum hoops.
- π¦ 12-Pack β Replace a Full Drum or Stock Up as Spares β Twelve washers per pack is enough to replace all the tension rod washers on a standard snare drum or a single tom in one purchase, with spares to keep on hand for fast replacements at a gig or rehearsal.
- π° An Inexpensive Drum Maintenance Essential β Tension rod washers are small but critical components for correct drum tuning and hoop preservation. The SC-12 12-pack is one of the most affordable maintenance items available for keeping your drums in peak playing condition.
