The Evans B16UV2 UV2 Coated Tom Batter Drumhead is built for drummers who demand durability and consistent tone from their floor tom. Constructed from two plies of 7-mil reinforced film — each treated with Evans' patented UV-cured coating — this 16" batter head delivers a warm, full tone with a pre-EQed attack that sits naturally in the mix, straight out of the box.

The UV coating actively resists denting, flaking, chipping, and surface wear from flams, rimshots, buzz rolls, and brush swirls — giving the B16UV2 a longer lifespan than standard coated heads. Evans' Level 360 collar ensures even seating across the full bearing edge, eliminating tension inconsistencies for faster, more stable tuning.
