Natural Cleaner & Conditioner

Lemon Oil is a time-tested, natural solution for keeping unfinished wood fingerboards clean, hydrated, and protected. Regular use removes the grime and residue that accumulates from playing — sweat, skin oils, and environmental dust — while conditioning the wood fibres to prevent drying, cracking, and shrinkage over time. A clean, well-conditioned fingerboard plays better, feels smoother under the fingers, and lasts longer.

Recommended for Unfinished Wood Fingerboards

The PW-LMN is specifically recommended for use on unfinished wood fingerboards — including rosewood, ebony, and pau ferro. These woods are porous and absorb oils naturally, making regular conditioning essential for their long-term health. Not recommended for maple fingerboards with a gloss finish, as finished surfaces do not absorb oil and do not require conditioning.

How to Use

Apply a small amount of Lemon Oil to a clean cloth and rub gently into the fingerboard along the grain. Allow to soak in for a few minutes, then wipe off any excess with a dry cloth. Use every few months or whenever the fingerboard appears dry or dull. Always remove strings before applying to the fingerboard for best results.
