The Cort SFX-ME OP is a gig-ready acoustic-electric guitar built around Cort's innovative SFX slim body design — combining the classic spruce and mahogany tonewood pairing with modern playability features for players who need a versatile, stage-ready instrument. With a Venetian cutaway, V-contour neck, advanced X-bracing, and Cort CE304T electronics, the SFX-ME is equally at home on stage, in the studio, or at home.

SFX Slim Body — Built for Comfort

The SFX slim body (83x83mm depth) is significantly thinner than a traditional dreadnought, making it comfortable to hold for extended playing sessions without sacrificing acoustic performance. The Venetian cutaway provides all-access to the upper frets, while the slim profile makes the guitar feel almost as comfortable as an electric — ideal for players who spend long hours on stage or in the studio.

Spruce Top & Mahogany Back and Sides

The spruce top delivers clear articulation, strong projection, and a bright, open sound that cuts through a mix. Paired with mahogany back and sides, you get a warm, full-bodied tone with a strong midrange — the classic combination that has defined great acoustic guitars for decades. V-Contour Neck Profile

The Cort CE304T preamp with ceramic pickup and built-in LED chromatic tuner makes the SFX-ME fully stage-ready out of the box. Plug into a PA or acoustic amp and the CE304T delivers a clean, natural signal with a rich midrange and clear highs — no additional DI box or tuner pedal required.

Open Pore Finish

The open pore finish allows the wood to breathe and vibrate more freely, enhancing resonance and producing a more natural, organic tone. It also reduces the overall weight of the guitar and gives it a premium, understated aesthetic that looks great on stage.
