With a slim SFX body, single cutaway, 45mm nut width, solid spruce top, and Cort CE304T electronics, the CEC3 bridges the gap between classical and contemporary playing styles beautifully.

Designed for Steel-String Players

Unlike traditional classical guitars with wide 52mm nut widths and thick bodies, the CEC3 features a 45mm nut width and a slim SFX body shape — making it immediately comfortable for players coming from steel-string acoustics or electric guitars. The single cutaway gives you easy access to the upper frets, opening up the full range of the 22-fret Merbau fretboard.

Solid Spruce Top with Traditional Fan Bracing

The solid spruce top is braced with traditional fan bracing — the classical guitar standard — which allows the top to vibrate freely and produce the warm, resonant tone characteristic of fine classical instruments. Paired with mahogany back and sides, the CEC3 delivers a balanced, full-bodied sound with clear note separation.

Nylon String Sound, Electric Convenience

The Cort CE304T preamp with ceramic pickup and built-in LED tuner lets you plug straight into a PA or acoustic amp — making the CEC3 fully stage-ready. Savarez Cristal Corum nylon strings are fitted as standard, providing the smooth, warm tone and comfortable feel that nylon strings are known for.
