The Telecaster Switch Tip — A Small Part, A Big Difference

The T-shape switch tip is the plastic cap that fits over the blade of a Telecaster pickup selector switch — the part your fingers actually contact when switching between pickups. Over time, switch tips can crack, chip, or simply go missing, leaving a bare metal blade that's uncomfortable to use and looks unfinished. Replacing the switch tip is one of the quickest, easiest cosmetic and functional upgrades you can make to a Telecaster — restoring the classic look and comfortable feel of the original.
