The Allparts SK-0714-023 is a pack of two black vintage-style round switch tips for USA Telecaster-style 3-way blade pickup selectors — featuring a round dome profile with a recessed top, replicating the original switch tip shape found on vintage Telecasters. A direct push-fit replacement for worn, cracked, or missing switch tips on most American-made Telecasters. Made in the USA.

Vintage Round vs Modern T-Shape — Which Style Is Yours?

Telecaster switch tips come in two distinct profiles, and it's important to identify which style your guitar currently uses before ordering:

Vintage round (dome) style — SK-0714-023 — a compact, round knob with a recessed top; the original switch tip shape used on early Telecasters. Smaller and more rounded than the modern T-shape tip. This is the correct choice for vintage-spec builds and restorations, or any Telecaster currently fitted with a round dome switch tip.
Modern T-shape (top-hat) style — SK-0713-023 — a wider, flatter T-shaped tip; the more common contemporary Telecaster switch tip profile. See SK-0713-023 for this style.

Both styles fit USA-spec Telecaster blade switches — the difference is purely aesthetic profile. Check your existing switch tip shape before ordering.

The SK-0714-023 is designed for USA-spec Telecaster blade switches. Import Telecasters (Squier, Mexican Fender, and other non-USA models) may use a metric-spec switch blade with a slightly different diameter — confirm your switch blade specification before ordering if you have an import instrument.
