Description

The Allparts PC-0743 is a replacement humbucker pickup ring set with slanted sides and a flat bottom — designed for flat-top electric guitars where the pickup needs to be angled to follow the string plane. Includes one short neck ring and one tall bridge ring. Compatible with most standard humbucker pickups on flat-top guitar bodies. Available in Black (PC-0743-023) and Cream.

Slanted Side, Flat Bottom — For Flat-Top Guitars

The slanted (tapered) side profile angles the pickup face to align with the string plane — the bridge end of the ring is taller than the neck end, tilting the pickup toward the strings for correct pickup-to-string distance across all six strings. The flat bottom is designed to sit flush against a flat guitar top. This is the correct ring geometry for most flat-top humbucker-equipped guitars including many import Les Paul-style, SG-style, and custom build instruments with flat body tops.

Compatibility — Check Before Ordering

Pickup ring fitment depends on both the body top geometry and the pickup routing dimensions. The PC-0743 is compatible with most standard humbucker routing on flat-top bodies, but is not compatible with the following:

Gibson carved-top guitars (Les Paul, ES-335, etc.) — require a ring with a radiused (curved) bottom to match the carved top
Epiphone guitars — use a different slanted ring geometry; see the PC-6743 (Epiphone-specific)
EMG active pickups — use EMG-specific mounting rings
