The Key by Allparts (LT-0868-000) is a dedicated intonation tool designed specifically for Floyd Rose Original locking tremolo systems — making saddle position adjustment faster, easier, and more precise than using a standard hex key alone. Slip The Key over the string lock screw, loosen the saddle mounting screw, and use fingertip control to slide the saddle to the correct intonation position. A practical, purpose-built tool for any guitarist who regularly sets up or intones a Floyd Rose.

Why Floyd Rose Intonation Is Awkward Without the Right Tool

Setting intonation on a Floyd Rose requires loosening the saddle lock screw, sliding the saddle forward or backward to the correct position, and re-tightening — all while keeping the saddle from shifting as you tighten. Without a dedicated tool, this typically requires juggling a hex key and trying to hold the saddle in position simultaneously, which makes precise saddle placement difficult and time-consuming.
