Locking Nut Mounting Screws — A Small Part, A Critical Function

The locking nut mounting screws are what hold the entire locking nut assembly firmly to the headstock — if these screws are stripped, loose, or missing, the locking nut cannot clamp the strings securely, leading to tuning instability and loss of the locking function entirely.
