Allparts EP-4923 Deep Round Nut for Switchcraft Toggle Switches — Nickel / Gold
The Allparts EP-4923 is a deep round nut designed specifically for Switchcraft 3-way toggle switches — used to secure the toggle switch to the guitar body on Les Paul, SG, ES-335, and other Gibson-style electric guitars. The deep (extended) profile makes it the correct choice for guitars with thicker tops where a standard-depth nut does not have enough thread engagement to secure the switch properly. Available in Nickel (EP-4923-001) and Gold (EP-4923-002) to match your hardware finish.
Deep Nut — Required for Thick-Top Guitars
Standard toggle switch nuts are designed for guitars with thinner body tops — on thicker-top guitars such as carved-top Les Pauls and Epiphone equivalents, the standard nut may not have enough thread engagement to tighten securely, leaving the toggle switch loose or prone to rotating. The EP-4923's extended threaded column provides additional thread depth, ensuring a tight, stable mount on thicker guitar tops. If your toggle switch nut keeps coming loose or won't tighten fully, a deep nut is likely the correct solution.
Switchcraft-Specific Threading
The EP-4923 uses USA-standard 15/32"-32 threads — the correct thread specification for Switchcraft toggle switches. Not compatible with metric-threaded import toggle switches. Confirm your toggle switch is a Switchcraft or USA-spec equivalent before ordering.
